Kyle Mannerberg (1977/1978-2007) was a Crystal Dynamics designer who worked on Legacy of Kain: Defiance. Following series director Amy Hennig's move to Naughty Dog in 2003, he was one of three employees "chosen to keep the Kain story alive", alongside Richard Lemarchand and Jennifer Fernández.

In 2007, during the production of Tomb Raider: Underworld, Mannerberg died of an unexpected brain hemorrhage, aged 29. Tomb Raider: Underworld was dedicated to his memory.
