Criminal Charges?[]

Okay, I'm moving some material added by an IP regarding some apparent criminal charges faced by McCulloch:

"As of 6/28/2013 McCulloch was arrested for child pornography and Prescursor Games has removed McCulloch employee file from the Prescursor Games website. Source"

Unfortunately, the link provided shows nothing more than a Canadian man from the St Catherine's area whose name is Kenneth McCulloch has been arrested (not charged) for related offences. Even if we can definitively ascertain whether this is the correct person, it seems unfair to say the least to be listing offences that the person hasn't been charged with yet (innocent until proven guilty etc). Even then, I'm not particularly sure it's appropriate. Baziel (talk) 16:37, June 29, 2013 (UTC)

It seems to be accurate Baz. I have tried to stay as far away as possible from all the Precursor Games stuff - wouldn't want to touch it with a ten-foot barge pole - but the Precursor CEO, Paul Caporicci, acknowledges the charges here. Quite serious. My thoughts: guess we just let the IP editors get on with it, keeping the link - while staying classy about it and pruning any slander - until more develops. --LoK-Aevum (talk) 17:45, June 29, 2013 (UTC)
Yeah, initially I was hoping for someone to post a more concrete link to illustrate they've got the correct person/and give us some details. Unfortunately the next IP editors quickly went feral about it and edits degenerated into deliberate vandalism with some ludicrously offensive stuff, so I've already protected the page from IP editing for now. I'll add something more sensible about it in a little while and might even add the first quote back, just disturbed me how quickly it went into slander territory for someone who hasn't been charged with anything yet.Baziel (talk) 18:07, June 29, 2013 (UTC)
Oh yeah, just noticed that rant edit - good call, protection on then. Well the whole page has needed a substantial update for quite a while now, so I might look into doing that in the near future, if I can muster enough motivation. Since our article is actually one of the top Google results for the guy, I am thinking we have a duty of sorts to acknowledge the story... or alternatively blank it for the time being since it's so outdated. It's a pity one of the few decently-developed Personnel pages we have ends up getting linked to such atrociously distasteful subject matter. --LoK-Aevum (talk) 19:07, June 29, 2013 (UTC)
